A 4-year-old Pekingese named Malachy won the coveted Best in Show title at the 2012 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Bedlington terriers from a Mount Pleasant area kennel were judged the top two of their breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City. This year's champion Bedlington terrier is Kaylynn's Guiding Light, a female also known as Beamer.
